Ireland’s Lion king Sean set to call time

IRELAND and Lions flanker Sean O’Brien is likely to call time on his career when his contract with London Irish runs out this summer.
The back row, 35, won four European Cup titles with Leinster and was named European Player of the Year in 2011.
O’Brien, who won 61 Test caps, moved to the Exiles in December 2019 following the World Cup in Japan to link up again with Declan Kidney and Les Kiss.
He is coming to the end of his contract, and sources in Ireland expect him to announce that he is retiring.
