Leicester Tigers have avoided a points deduction after Premiership Rugby found that they had failed to comply with salary cap regulations.
Instead, the Welford Road club have been fined £309,841.06 for exceeding the salary cap.
It was discovered that the Tigers had entered into an arrangement whereby a third-party company made payments to the image rights companies of Leicester Tigers players.
Premiership Rugby has concluded its investigation into Leicester Tigers’ Salary Cap compliance for the seasons 2016/17 to 2020/21.
