EDDIE Jones defended Charlie Ewels over his second-minute red card agony after England’s title dream was left in tatters on the Twickenham grass.
Instead, the head coach directed his wrath at French referee Mathieu Raynal for “failing to allow my pack to scrum fully” as Ireland crossed for two late scores to clinch a 32-15 victory.
