SPRINGBOK World Cup winner Faf de Klerk is expected to sign his million pound a year contract with NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes this week.
De Klerk, 30, is departing Sale – his home since 2017 – after they admitted that they couldn’t compete with the contract the Japanes outfit is offering him.
He will reunite in Osaka with his former Lions boss Johan Ackermann who moved to Japan when he left Gloucester in 2020, and Springboks and Johannesburg teammate Elton Jantjies. Ackermann gave de Klerk his Lions debut in 2014 before reaching backto-back Super ...
