MARCUS Smith says Tom Curry has taken the England captaincy in his stride.
In the absence of Owen Farrell and Courtney Lawes, Curry, 23, stepped up to become England’s youngest captain since Will Carling led his country at 22 in 1988.
Curry’s leadership qualities have made quite the impression on Smith who said: “He’s been brilliant. He hasn’t changed one bit. He speaks well and he’s really well liked by the squad which is massively important.”
