Hard as it is to sympathise with someone who shoots two men during dinner –a shameful waste of food in a world full of need – and then has his weak-minded brother rubbed out by a senior flunky, there are reasons to feel just a little for Michael Corleone, the anti-hero of The Godfather movies.
Poor Michael never wanted in with the Mafia, but events conspired against him. And once he was in, he could never find a way back out. Which leads us, neatly enough, to… yep, you’ve got it: Italy.
