The Paper returns this Thursday with another bumper episode to get you ready for the second round of fixtures.

Host Oliver Little and The Rugby Paper Nick Cain and Brendan Gallagher will be joined by Italian international and back Tommaso Allan to discuss all things ahead of England’s visit to Rome on Sunday.

Before each week of Six Nations action, our podcast panel will predict what they think the score lines will be in the weekends fixtures.

As Nigel Owens famously said: ‘This is not soccer’, so we understand this is incredibly difficult to do in rugby.

The Rugby Paper has devised a points based scoring system for our Six Nations predictions. They are:

5 points for correct match winner

1 point for within 7 points of a score – with 2 points up for grabs as there are two teams in rugby

3 points for correct score for one team

10 points for exact final scoreline

v Scotland v England v Italy
Final Score 29 – 7 20 – 17 37 – 10
Jeremy Guscott prediction 37-21 14-21 58-14
Jeremy Guscott points 5 2 6
Nick Cain prediction 26 – 15 17 – 18 58 – 10
