BATH will not rush Sam Underhill back into action after the England flanker suffered his fourth concussion in eight months 15 minutes into his comeback from another head injury against Leinster last weekend.
Underhill was left out of England’s Six Nations squad because head coach Eddie Jones was concerned at the number of knocks to the head the 25-year-old had taken in 2021.
Underhill failed a head injury assessment playing for Bath in Zebre in the European Challenge Cup last April and in June he was injured during a ruck session in an England training camp.
