TOULOUSE are favourites to land Sale Sharks World Cup-winning second row Lood de Jager when his contract runs out at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old has been hit hard by injuries since moving to the Sharks in 2019 and has been linked with several clubs since it emerged he is unlikely to stay in the North West.
Talks between Toulouse and De Jager are advanced. He could be joined in the Top 14 by Rohan Janse van Rensburg, who joined the Sharks in 2018.
Van Rensburg has a release clause in his deal, and Lyon would like him to join them for next season.
