Hookers and kickers are getting away with murder

HANDS UP if you are tired of seeing scrum halves putting the ball into the second row.
That is one of the bug-bears of the modern game, but there are two other issues I have with the match officials.
The line-out has become a bit of a sterile area. The team throwing in is expected to win the ball – sometimes without even the hint of any challenge.
The lawmakers now seem to see it merely as a means to restart the game. Chuck it in and let’s get on with it. They make it too easy for the hookers.
