PROMISING flanker Cian Prendergast helped Connacht put Munster to the sword in a fiery contest at the Sportsground.
Both sides had two men binned and Irish centre Chris Farrell was fortunate to escape with a yellow card in a badtempered contest which never opened up.
“We really needed that win,” said star man Prendergast. “It was tough, we had our backs against the wall and it was a gutsy performance.”
