SPANISH rugby is reeling this Christmas at the shock death of their New Zealand-reared back five forward Kawa Leauma who has died after reportedly falling from the balcony of his hotel following Los Leones game against Netherlands on Saturday.
Leauma, 32, underwent emergency surgery in Amsterdam on head injuries but died on Tuesday. The exact circumstance of the death are not yet known.
