THE decision by Bath owner Bruce Craig to pick Ed Griffiths as his successor as chairman is the most likely trigger for positive change at the beleaguered west country club for a long time.
Craig will be thanking his lucky stars that the machinations by Premiership owners, such as himself, to force a moratorium on relegation was rubber-stamped by a compliant RFU Council ten months ago, given that Bath are ten points adrift at the bottom of the table.
