LEICESTER have ramped up their bid to sign South Africa’s World Cup winning fly-half Handre Pollard for the 2022-23 season to succeed Salebound George Ford.
As revealed in Blindside last month, the Tigers want the 27-year-old Pollard, capped 60 times, to replace Ford when he leaves for Manchester in the summer.
BBC Radio Leicester report Pollard will join the Tigers, although boss Steve Borthwick declined to confirm the signing at the Premiership leaders’ weekly Press conference.
