WASPS head coach Lee Blackett said it was a case of so near, yet so far as his team fell short by the narrowest of margins at Sixways.
“I'm disappointed. I feel in the last two games we’ve had comebacks where we could have gone home with ten points, but unfortunately we’ve come up short,” he said.
“We outscored Worcester five tries to four and controlled the second half. We may have given ourselves a little too much to do.
