AS chief executive of the insurance giant Aviva, Amanda Blanc could be described as the highest profile business woman in rugby. Her outstanding cv prompted a justifiable fanfare to herald her appointment as the independent chairman of Welsh rugby’s Professional Game Board two years ago.
