NICK Cain was spot on last week when challenging what Eddie Jones has been doing and achieving since becoming the rugby world’s most expensive coach.
It’s easy to concur that nothing significant or faintly world-class has been seen so far.
Eddie’s track record before England was good but patchy, the ‘almost man’ or assistant. Japan 2019 was his chance to win a World Cup and stamp his own mark on the most heavily financed and resourced rugby nation in the world.
