AROUND five years ago, I took part in a brain study and the results have just been published so I know at long last whether or not I should be concerned.
The idea was to assess the association between a number of self- reported concussions and cognitive function among retired players. They achieved this by doing a test called the Preclinical Alzheimer Cognitive Composite (PACC).
Only now have they told me if my PACC score was low they would have refered me to my GP.
