BRISTOL DoR Pat Lam is pleased to have a byeweek coming up given their long injury list, which saw him make nine changes to the 15.
“We’ve got this break now and will try to learn from this to launch the next part of our season,” Lam said.
“We had a lot of opportunities to win that game but individual errors like missing touch or turning the ball over really cost us.
“We trained well all week and when they did it like we trained, it was superb. Our defence was better but it feels like we gifted that game away.”
