MARCUS Watson aims to start persuading Wasps he deserves a new contract by putting Northampton to the sword today.
Constant setbacks with his groin and Achilles since he arrived four years ago have prevented Watson from showing the fans the kind of running rugby skills that made him an Olympic silver medallist at Rio 2016.
The 30-year-old, who switches from wing to fullback for the Saints clash at CBS Arena, believes he can look ahead to a much brighter future and finally fulfil his potential as one of the game’s most elusive and dangerous attackers.
