HALLAM Amos has been tipped to fill the full-back void left by Liam Williams and Leigh Halfpenny for Wales’ daunting autumn campaign.
It leaves head coach Wayne Pivac thin on the ground at 15 with Amos, Dragons speedster Jonah Holmes and Scarlets man Johnny McNicholl contenders.
Cardiff director of rugby Dai Young urges Pivac to put his faith in Amos. “I think Hallam is more than comfortable at international level – he’s already proved that,” said Young.
