EXETER director of rugby Rob Baxter says No.8 Sam Simmonds has taken big steps forward and will handle any pressure that might be on him after his England training squad call-up.
The 26-year-old scored a record 21 tries in the Premiership last season, but was overlooked by England despite many calls for him to be brought in.
The back row was picked by the Lions for their summer tour.
