Sale Sharks on look-out for prop in Russia

ALEX Sanderson is looking to bolster his options in the front row with a move for a Russian prop just a week before the new season kicks off.
The Sharks only brought it three new players this summer: Tommy Taylor and loosehead Simon McIntyre from Wasps, along with Worcester Warriors tighthead Nick Schonert.
Sanderson lost tightheads WillGriff John and Jake Cooper-Woolley from his squad and Russian loosehead Valery Morozov from his squad.
Sanderson has been looking to reinforce his front row for a month and had been targeting a Japanese prop, but that move has fallen through.
