Rassie Erasmus set to get date for misconduct hearing

RASSIE Erasmus will this week find out when the case against him brought by World Rugby following a social media rant against officiating will be held, but South Africa’s director of rugby may not get a personal hearing.
Erasmus, who has not travelled with the Springbok squad to Australia for next month’s Rugby Championship fixtures, has until Tuesday to respond in writing to the charges laid against him for bringing the game into disrepute.
When Erasmus’s response is submitted, World Rugby’s independent judicial chairman, Chris Quinlan, will convene a panel. It is likely to be threestrong...
