Exclusive: Premiership players urged to take the Covid vaccine

PREMIERSHIP Rugby have asked clubs to take a hard-line approach with players who refuse a Covid-19 vaccine ahead of the new season that starts on September 17.
The Rugby Paper understands there are a large number of Premiership players who have refused to take the vaccine for one reason or another.
England’s Henry Slade, who has Type-1 diabetes, is the biggest name to come out and say he wouldn’t be having the vaccine.
He has said: “I have had vaccines in the past and have fallen pretty unwell with them afterwards. I don’t know if that has anything to do with the diabetes or not.
