PORTIA Woodman basks in the title of “Women’s Sevens Player of the Decade” and you would pay top dollar to see her perform, either as a wing, where she first made her name, or as a front rower, where she was turning out for New Zealand at the Olympic tournament.
It has been some journey, positionally speaking. From memory, her namesake Trevor, the starting loosehead when England won the World Cup in 2003, never turned out on the wing.
