THERE was no shortage of positives from this warm-up for the first Test, with a barnstorming display by Luke Cowan-Dickie at hooker and a twinkletoed Lions debut by fly-half Marcus Smith, the pick of the bunch.
Then there was the Lazarus-like reappearance with 27 minutes left to play of Alun Wyn Jones, the tour captain, whose involvement seemed to have been brutally curtailed when he suffered a shoulder dislocation against Japan just three weeks ago.
