TONY Rowe believes there should be a route into the Premiership for aspiring Championship clubs when the suspension on relegation from the top flight is lifted in two years, but fears that the financial gap between the two divisions is becoming unbridgeable.
Rowe, the chairman and chief executive of Exeter, who since their promotion in 2010 have established themselves as one of the leading clubs in Europe, is not in favour of ring-fencing but says the RFU should be helping Championship clubs improve their facilities.
