SAM Simmonds says the Lions tour has allowed him to forget about the heartbreak of a third Premiership final defeat with Exeter Chiefs.
No.8 Simmonds, 26, who scored a Premiership record 21 tries last season, was able to push the pain of last month’s loss to Harlequins to the back of his mind almost immediately.
