FEARS that players would desert rugby after 16 months of restrictions imposed by the pandemic and leave the community game floundering have proved groundless, according to the Rams of National One.
With clubs gearing up to resume full training from July 19, when mandates on distancing and mask-wearing are scheduled to end, the pull of the game for players has been enhanced by the long break from it.
