Harlequins and England hooker Amy Cokayne moved to New Zealand when she was nine after her father, Ian, was recruited by New Zealand’s Air Force.
She had already started to play rugby but honed her craft when she arrived in NZ. She was moved from the centre to the front row pretty quickly and began to show her impressive skills in school and club rugby. So much so she was asked to go to a Black Ferns trial camp at 16.
