PAT Lam has warned his players that reputation will count for nothing when he picks his side for what Bristol’s director of rugby hopes are two Premiership play-off matches next month.
The Bears – who lost to Sale last Friday night – are already guaranteed to finish in the top four, but Lam wants a home draw in the semi-finals as it statistically offers a better chance of reaching Twickenham – and crowds are now allowed back in grounds.
