DMP Sharks’ Lauren Torley has been playing 15s rugby regularly for only a year as she has spent most of her time in the game playing touch rugby.
She did try 15s but in her first match at university she punctured a lung and so decided to avoid full contact.
However, when the pandemic struck, touch was suspended and the winger decided to dip her toe back into the 15s set-up.
