SAM Simmonds broke the Premiership try-scoring record for a season with a hat-trick in Exeter’s 31-12 win at London Irish on Tuesday taking his tally to 19.
Back row Simmonds has scored 67 tries in all competitions for Exeter, including a club record of 50 in the Premiership.
Around 4,000 fans were at the Brentford Community Stadium to see Ben Donnell and Ben Loader score for Irish.Tom O’Flaherty and Joe Simmonds added further tries for Exeter.
