DIRECTOR of rugby Mark McCall lauded the steely focus Saracens showed in an unerring signal of intent at the business end of the season.
Sarries scythed through within two minutes and ran in 11 tries without response at Butts Park Arena despite feisty Coventry refusing to lie down and going within a whisker of a couple of tries, particularly in the first half.
The fact they did not break through was as much to do with the grit displayed by a team expertly led by Owen Farrell, who made light of some treatment designed to unsettle him, to keep the Saracens juggernaut rolling throughout.
