HARLEQUINS tighthead Kyle Sinckler is set to have at least three Premiership clubs chasing his services if he doesn’t agree a new deal.
The England prop is out of contract at the end of the season and Quins will be keen to agree to an extension to keep him at the Twickenham Stoop beyond next summer.
Wandsworth-born Sinckler, 26, has been with Quins since he was 12 after being spotted by then academy coach Collin Osborne playing in a school game.
Blindside understands that Sale Sharks, Bath and Bristol are all on the hunt for a big- name tighthead to add to their squad for 2020-21.
Premiership directors of rugby are already looking at their recruitment for the summer of 2020 despite the 2019-20 season still being weeks away from kicking off.
Quins will be anxious to keep Sinckler, who will have seen his value increase dramatically since he signed his last contract in October 2016.
But they will need to dig deep as some of the interested clubs could go to as much as £450,000 to £500,000-a-year to tempt him away.
The good thing for Quins is that they have got plenty of time to tie him down as Sinckler cannot officially speak to another club until the start of January.
The reality is, however, club recruitment chiefs make offers on players well in advance of when they are officially allowed to speak to give themselves an edge in negotiations.
