GLASGOW Warriors bounced back from an awful performance against Benetton to end Edinburgh’s three-year hold on the 1872 Cup.
Friday night’s match at Scotstoun had red cards, plenty of tries and a lot of niggle.
“The boys responded,” Glasgow head coach Danny Wilson said. “We’d talked about how important it was to stand up and respond to the Benetton loss and the boys showed character.”
Glasgow took the lead through a Ross Thompson penalty before Cole Forbes ran a great line to bag a converted try.
