SALE’S impressive run of form continued with a fifth Premiership victory in succession to put them firmly on course for a semi-final place for the first time since 2006.
It was Sale’s sixth win in a row over Leicester with the game going much as expected after Tigers seemingly chose not to prioritise it by leaving out a number of leading players.
Their first choice front row and George Ford were nowhere to be seen with star performers, Jasper Wiese and Freddie Steward, placed on the bench.
