BATH missed the opportunity to qualify for their first European final since 2014 with a disjointed performance which saw Montpellier, the 2016 Challenge Cup Winners, progress to the final.
It was a remarkable achievement from the French side. They presently sit 12th in the Top 14 with their campaign savagely disrupted by Covid, leaving them unable to play a league game since March 27.
