McFarland: Defeat is hard to take

ULSTER head coach Dan McFarland was dejected by this semi-final defeat and fears his squad will take time to recover from conceding their 17-6 lead.
“We demonstrated in the first half, when we were able to execute, that we were the better team,” he said.
McFarland said Ulster “dropped off ” after the interval while captain Iain Henderson said the defeat would be a “bitter pill” to swallow.
Man-of-the-match George Ford said Leicester had been too passive in the first half.
