NEWCASTLE boss Dean Richards gave an honest assessment as Falcons lost their fifth league game in a row admitting no relegation is having an influence in his thinking.
He said: “The three tries before half-time were critical and it’s the manner we conceded them which we’re most disappointed with.
“We turned it over a couple of times and you can’t do that with a side like Bristol.
“Positives are when we get it right we can be a real threat but our skillset wasn’t good enough compared to theirs.
