At last the women’s game has an equal platform to the men. The BBC finally handed them their own Six Nations slot, away from being just an ‘add on’ to the men.
Although I wouldn’t expect them to have massive viewing figures at the moment, there can be no doubt that with the lockdown and the desperation of all to see something new on television instead of continual repeats, they have a good chance to build a big audience.
