GLOUCESTER head coach George Skivington was delighted with the bonus point victory but believed his side’s improved performance was more important.
“It’s great to beat Exeter as they are a seriously well-oiled machine but it was more pleasing to see the side building nicely and definitely getting better.
“I can be critical of certain bits of our play as we left a couple of tries out there with Jonny May close in the first half and a failure to finish off close-range lineout drives.
