TIAAN Swanepoel struck a game-winning penalty in the final minute to clinch victory for the Lions in a 12-try thriller against the Sharks at Ellis Park, which ended 43-40.
New recruit, wing Ngia Selengbe got the Lions on the board with an early try but the Sharks were quick to respond with Lukhanyo Am and Yaw Penxe combining to free up debutant Rynhard Jonker down the left wing, who grubbered through to Aphelele Fassi for the try.
