Bristol want fresh air at top after wiping Wasps bogey

AFTER laying their Wasps bogey last week, Bristol are determined to cement their place at the top of the Premiership, says hooker Bryan Byrne.

Byrne, an increasingly influential figure for Pat Lam’s side since joining from Leinster last March, told TRP: “It was a big win over Wasps because they beat us in last season’s semi-final and we were disappointed to lose to them on the opening day.
“Wasps had been a bogey side to Bristol for 15 years so we definitely owed them one and the chat was about putting on a big performance for our fans.
