Danny Cipriani edges closer to agreeing Bath deal

DANNY CIPRIANI, a free agent since leaving Gloucester in December, could this week put pen to paper on a one-year deal with Bath.
The mercurial fly-half, 33, has been training one-on-one with England legend Jonny Wilkinson, while looking for a new club.
Bath, who are losing Rhys Priestland to Cardiff Blues next season, put the former England international at the top of their wanted list.
And they rivalled offers that Cipriani had on the table from Japan as they look for him to develop 19- year - old academy prospect Orlando Bailey to step into his shoes.
