NEWCASTLE boss Dean Richards highlighted illdiscipline, errors and fatigue after his side suffered their worst league defeat of the season.
He said: “It was the most error-strewn game we’ve played this year. The needless penalties just kept on mounting. We were the most disciplined side in the league, but today we lost count as Bath put us under a lot of pressure.
“We didn’t defend particularly well and we weren’t at the races today. There has been a huge knock-on from the Covid situation, but we can’t use excuses against a near-international back line.”
