GLOUCESTER head coach George Skivington was downcast as his side failed to complete a hattrick of wins after morale-boosting victories over Wasps and Worcester had lifted them off the bottom of the table. Skivington said: “It’s very disappointing and it’s difficult to find any positives as we were out-muscled.
“It wasn’t a great game as there were a lot of mistakes and therefore no rhythm.
“I’m glad we stayed in the fight to the end and we could have won but Leicester showed some terrific defence.
