LEINSTER coach Leo Cullen praised his men for securing a tenth league final appearance in 12 years when they came from behind to oust an Ulster side who needed to win at Kingspan Stadium to stay in contention.
“It has been a difficult and unusual season with so much disruption so the key was just to get enough points to reach the final,” said Cullen.
The three-in-a-row champions will now face Munster in the final on March 27 when they will hope to secure their eighth league title against their biggest rivals.
The contest was decided in an action-packed opening half.
