LONDON Irish produced another second-half performance of note to edge out Wasps in a ferocious tussle at the Ricoh Stadium.
After the heroics of that fightback to gain a 34-34 draw against Bristol last week, this narrow victory owed more to a forward stranglehold and good defence at the end.
Wasps led 10-6 at halftime but could never break the Irish hold sufficiently in the second half except for a last-dash attempt at the end.
